The burnt bloom is on its way to withering and falling off the tree. The beginning of school has come and the routine is on its way.
There is something blissful about the beginning of fall when it decides to make its appearance. Boots, scarves, and jackets. Fall leaves, pumpkins, and football. Chili, hearty soups, and cookies.
I don’t know how long it’ll take for fall to really arrive, but for now I’m looking forward to September.
